Return to Spring 2023 Youth Lacrosse

BGirls in the K-2 program will practice on Monday and Wednesday. At this level, the more training a player gets, the faster they will develop. We also understand that your player may have competing activities and we support multi-sport athletes. As long as your player is able to attend one training each week, she will develop at the pace of his peers. Training will begin in mid-February, depending on weather and access to indoor facilities.

Games for the K-2 girls program will be played (typically) on Sundays, beginning mid-March and ending in late May. Teams will play 8-12 games and (typically) one tournament during the spring season.. Our games are played regionally (Southern OH), with some travel as far as the Springboro/Centerville area to the north and Batavia to the South; often our games are closer to home.

The registration cost for SLA's spring K-2 program is $70. The total cost of registration, including USA Lacrosse membership, is $100.

During the registration process, the system will ask for your USA Lacrosse membership number. USA Lacrosse provides insurance for our players and the program, included in their membership fee. If you do not have a USA Lacrosse membership ($30 annual fee) the system will guide you to the USA Lacrosse website to complete that join/renewal process and then guide you back to complete your spring registration. If your membership expires before the end of the season, it will require you to renew now.

At this level, SLA provides practice pinnies (which double as game jerseys) for your player--no uniform purchase is necessary. The player will need to purchase their own stick, mouth guard, cleats, and eye protection (goggles).
